Terms and Conditions

These Terms govern enrollment in the Get 100 AMC 10 Program running from 9 September to 1 November 2026. Please read them fully before enrolling. By completing payment you agree to be bound by them.

1. The Program

The Program consists of 32 live topic lectures, 8 live review and problem-solving sessions, 4 practice tests with review, self-study foundation modules, written handouts, and recordings of the live sessions. Live sessions are delivered online. Materials are delivered by email and by shared file link. In these Terms, "Services" means the Program together with our websites, applications, and any software, platform, or tool we make available to you now or in the future in connection with it. Most sessions are taught by Zlatko-Salko Lagumdzija. Up to 8 of the 40 sessions may be led by a guest instructor.

The Program is capped at 30 students. Up to 6 of those students may additionally purchase the Mentorship add-on described in section 8.

We may adjust the order, content, or timing of individual sessions where we judge it serves the cohort, provided the overall scope and number of sessions is substantially maintained.

2. No guarantee of results

We do not guarantee any score. Shef Scholars makes no representation or warranty that any student will achieve 100, or any other score, on the AMC 10 or on any other competition. Outcomes depend on each student's starting point, effort, and circumstances outside our control.

We are not affiliated with the MAA. Shef Scholars is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by the Mathematical Association of America or the American Mathematics Competitions. All trademarks referenced belong to their respective owners and are used only to describe what the Program prepares students for.

Enrolling here does not register a student for the AMC 10. Competition registration is handled by the student's school or by an authorized testing center, is subject to their deadlines, and is entirely your responsibility.

3. Eligibility and who enrolls

• Enrollment must be completed by a parent or legal guardian on behalf of the student, or by a student aged 18 or over on their own behalf.
• By enrolling you confirm you have the authority to bind yourself, and the student on whose behalf you enroll, to these Terms.
• You confirm the information you give us at checkout, and in correspondence with us, is true, accurate, and complete, and you will keep it current.
• You confirm that neither you nor the student has previously been removed or suspended from a Shef Scholars program.
• The AMC 10 has its own eligibility rules set by the MAA. Meeting them is your responsibility, not ours.

We may suspend or terminate a student's access if we determine in good faith that enrollment information is inaccurate or incomplete, or that these Terms have been breached.

4. Fees and payment

Payment is taken through Stripe. By enrolling you authorize Shef Scholars and Stripe to charge your chosen payment method for the fee shown at checkout, in U.S. dollars, plus any applicable taxes.

• Camp: $180 through 21 August 2026, then $240.
• Camp plus Mentorship: $630 through 21 August 2026, then $720.

Fees are payable in full at the time of enrollment. The price shown to you at checkout is the price you pay; a later increase does not apply to a payment already completed. We may change published prices at any time before you complete payment.

Currency conversion charges, foreign transaction fees, and any other charges imposed by your bank or card issuer are your responsibility and are not refundable by us. You are responsible for any taxes, duties, or levies applicable to you in your own jurisdiction.

5. Refunds

Refunds are processed within 14 business days. Access to all Program materials, including recordings, handouts, and practice tests, ends when the refund is issued, and any copies already downloaded must be deleted.

After 14 September 2026 all fees are non-refundable except where a refund is required by law. This is because the cohort is capped and a withdrawn seat cannot be resold. If you believe a payment was made in error, email us within 14 days of the payment date and we will review it case by case.

6. Recording of sessions

Live sessions are taught with cameras on, and all sessions are recorded. Interactive teaching is central to this Program. Students are expected to join with their camera and microphone available, and will therefore appear and be heard in recordings.

• Recordings are shared only with families enrolled in this Program. They are not published, sold, or used in marketing.
• Recordings remain available to enrolled families through 31 December 2026, after which access ends.
• Camera-on participation and recording are conditions of enrollment, not optional features.
• We will accommodate a camera-off session on request for a specific reason such as illness.

By enrolling, the parent or guardian acknowledges and agrees, on the student's behalf, to this camera-on participation, to the recording of sessions in which the student appears, and to the distribution of those recordings to other enrolled families for the purposes described above. If this is not acceptable to you, please do not enroll. The refund window in section 5 applies.

7. Materials, software, and permitted use

Handouts, problem sets, solutions, practice tests, foundation modules, session recordings, and any software or applications forming part of the Services (together, the "Materials") are the property of Shef Education LLC or its licensors and are protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the Materials for the enrolled student's personal, non-commercial study. You may not copy, share, post, upload, sell, resell, rent, lease, sublicense, translate, or create derivative works from the Materials, or make them available to anyone outside your household, without our prior written permission. Sharing access credentials, session links, or file links with non-enrolled families is a breach of these Terms and may result in termination.

Where the Services include software, you will not modify, reverse engineer, reverse assemble, decompile, or otherwise attempt to discover any source code; sell, assign, sublicense, or grant a security interest in it; use modified versions of it, including to obtain unauthorized access to the Services; or access the Services other than through the interface we provide. We may use any technological means to enforce these Terms, and may change the specifications of, restrict, or limit access to the Services at our discretion.

If you link to our website from another site, the link must open the full page in a new browser window. You may not hotlink or inline-link to any image or file we host, download or reuse our images on another site, or frame, surround, or obscure our pages with third party content or branding. We may require any link to be removed on written notice.

8. Mentorship add-on

The Mentorship add-on is limited to 6 students and includes everything in the camp plus: one private 30-minute session each week of the Program, a study plan, weekly review of the student's written work, a mid-program progress assessment, and a written evaluation of progress and readiness at the end.

• Private sessions are scheduled by agreement between us and the family.
• To reschedule, give at least 24 hours notice and we will find another slot that week where our schedule allows.
• A session missed without notice, or cancelled with less than 24 hours notice, is treated as delivered and is not made up.
• If we need to reschedule, we will offer an alternative slot or, if none can be agreed, extend by one week beyond the Program end.
• The written evaluation is an assessment of the student's progress in this Program. It is not a college recommendation letter and we make no commitment to submit it to any institution.

9. Student conduct and termination

By enrolling, you agree that the student will not:

• harass, bully, threaten, impersonate, or harm any other participant;
• share, post, or transmit content that is unlawful, abusive, obscene, defamatory, hateful, or discriminatory;
• disrupt live sessions, or record, screenshot, or redistribute any session or Material;
• collect or store personal information about other participants;
• share account access, session links, or Materials with anyone not enrolled;
• infringe anyone's copyright, trademark, or other rights;
• violate any applicable law.

We may remove a student from a session, or from the Program, for conduct that harms other participants. Where we remove a student for a serious breach of this section, no refund is due. Please report any conduct concerns to us immediately.

Separately, we may end a student's enrollment at any time and for any reason at our sole discretion, including where we judge that continuing would be disruptive or unpleasant for the cohort. Where we do this and the student has not breached this section, we will refund the fee in full if the Program has not yet started, or the portion covering the remaining sessions if it has.

10. Content you submit

The student keeps ownership of the homework, problem-set attempts, questions, chat messages, and other content they submit through the Services ("Submitted Content").

You grant Shef Education LLC a non-exclusive, perpetual, irrevocable, worldwide, royalty-free, fully paid-up, sublicensable license to use, store, reproduce, modify, adapt, publish, translate, publicly perform, publicly display, and distribute Submitted Content, in whole or in part, and to incorporate it into other works in any format or medium now known or later developed. This expressly includes reproducing Submitted Content verbatim, in solution packages, handouts, worked examples, course materials, videos, and other products, whether commercial or not, and whether during this Program or afterwards. No attribution or payment is required, and to the extent permitted by law you waive any moral rights in Submitted Content in connection with these uses.

You represent and warrant that Submitted Content is the student's own original work, except where a source is clearly cited, and that it does not infringe the copyright or other rights of anyone else. You agree not to submit material copied from another person's solutions, from a book, or from a website without saying so.

Everything we create remains ours, including our marking, feedback, model solutions, handouts, and any materials we derive from or build around Submitted Content.

We will not publish a student's name, image, voice, or likeness, or identify a student as the author of Submitted Content, in any public or promotional context without separate written permission from a parent or guardian. Submitted Content used outside this Program will be anonymised.

11. Cancellation by us

If enrollment is too low for the Program to run as described, we may cancel it before the first session and will refund all fees paid in full. If circumstances beyond our reasonable control prevent a session from running, we will reschedule it or provide a recording covering the same material.

12. Availability of the service

Live sessions depend on third-party platforms and on your own internet connection and equipment. We do not warrant that the Services will be uninterrupted, timely, secure, or error-free, that results obtained from them will be accurate or reliable, that they will meet your particular requirements, or that any errors will be corrected. Except as expressly stated in these Terms, everything is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including any implied warranty of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose, to the fullest extent permitted by law.

13. Third-party links and platforms

We may link to third-party websites, and we deliver sessions and materials through third-party platforms. We are not responsible for the content, products, services, advertising, or privacy practices of those third parties, and a link is not an endorsement or sponsorship. Any reliance on a third-party website is at your own risk. Your use of those platforms is subject to their own terms.

14. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Shef Education LLC and its members, employees, contractors, agents, licensors, and suppliers will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, including lost profits, lost data, or loss of opportunity, arising out of or relating to the Services or these Terms, even if advised of the possibility of such damages.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total aggregate liability for all claims arising out of or relating to the Services or these Terms will not exceed the amount you actually paid us for the Program.

Any material downloaded or otherwise obtained through the Services is accessed at your own discretion and risk, and you are responsible for any damage to your device or loss of data that results.

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited, including liability for fraud, for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or any statutory rights you have as a consumer.

15. General

Governing law and venue

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, United States, without regard to its conflict of law rules. The parties submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the state and federal courts located in Delaware, and waive objections based on venue or inconvenient forum. Nothing here deprives a consumer of the protection of mandatory laws of their country of residence.

Time limit on claims

Any claim arising out of these Terms or the Services must be brought within one year after the claim arises, to the extent that limit is permitted by law.

Attorneys' fees

If legal action is brought to construe or enforce any provision of these Terms, the prevailing party is entitled to recover its reasonable attorneys' fees and court costs in addition to any other relief awarded, to the extent permitted by law.

Entire agreement

These Terms, together with the description of the Program on this website and your Stripe receipt, form the entire agreement between us and supersede all previous agreements, promises, proposals, representations, understandings, and negotiations, whether written or oral, on the same subject.

Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms. Material changes affecting students already enrolled will be notified by email, and will not reduce what you have already paid for.

Waiver, severability, assignment

A failure to enforce any provision is not a waiver of it. If any provision is held invalid, illegal, or unenforceable, the rest remains in force and that provision is replaced by the closest valid and enforceable equivalent. You may not assign these Terms without our consent, which will not be unreasonably withheld. We may assign them to an affiliate or to a successor to substantially all of our business, and any such assignee is bound by these Terms.

No construction against the drafter

If any ambiguity arises, these Terms will be construed as if drafted jointly, with no presumption against either party by reason of authorship.

Events outside our control

Neither party is liable for delay or failure to perform caused by events beyond its reasonable control, including illness, war, civil disorder, natural disaster, and failure of internet, banking, or payment infrastructure. Payment processing delays caused by banking outages, payment processor failures, or technical issues are not a breach of these Terms, and we will make reasonable efforts to resolve them and notify you.
